Sold 2006 tl

I can't believe I tradded in my car after spending MEGA BUCKS on it, but I got a very good trade-in and price on my new car.

Thanks much for all the great people here with SO MUCH knowledge !!!

I have 2 sets of TL wheels with tires for sale, a brand new Pulley, a new uncut switchblade key, original coilovers with top hats all together, stock intake and exhaust, stock tail lights and rear side markers. 2 balllasts for corona lights, a gauge cluster for a manual TL, and more. I am having trouble posting pics now, so once I fix it I will post pics of all I am selling in the BLACK MARKET.

Thanks again all. I will still visit and checkout all the kool TL's.

Congrats on the new ride. Love the new Camaro. Post pics when you can. What did you get on the trade?

$24,000 FOR TL and they lowered the Camaro down to sticker price because it was marked up.

My TL also needed a new clutch but they didnt feel it, it would slip alot when speed shifting into 2nd. Plus a kid on a bike hit my pass door which would cost $500 to fix. Thats about $3k I would have to spend on my 4 year old TL with 37k miles.

I will post pics when I fix the problem.

I LOVE the Camaro, HAULS ASS BIG TIME. And turns heads ALL OVER.

Again?!?!?

Didn't you do this (buy the TL, mod it, sell it) a year or two ago? Then bought this one later?

Anyway, GL. Post up a link to your Black Market thread to keep the FS stuff in your 1st post on the up-and-up.

OP- Please post a F/S thread in the appropriate place. I deleted some posts in this thread. Ideally, I would like to keep this thread on topic. Thanks.

It's called showing him $24k as opposed to him actually getting $24k. If you buy a car at full MSRP they can use the margin from the car you're buying to pump up what they're showing you for your trade. At the end of the day you look at the total net cost of the transaction. Also, what constitutes a good deal is if the person feels that they got a good deal then they got a good deal, that is until they talk to the next person who got a better one. Enjoy!!

I would usually agree but the Camaro SS is one of the hottest new cars in the market.. there's at least a 2 month wait at my local dealership. My coworker has a family member who hasn't received theirs yet and they ordered it in July. I went to my local Chevy dealership and they only have one in the showroom and it's already been bought.. as soon as the next one comes in they send the showroom one out and put the next one in its place (FIFO).. so MSRP on a SS is decent in my book, and 24k on trade for the TL is unreal.

the Camaro SS is pretty nice. maybe you should have held out to see if they would make the z28 with the LSA supercharged 550HP engine.
