So yea....can this be covered by Aspec?

Well, I came out of the parking lot...and i see this...with no one in sight responsible....

Sigh....

I was thinking its time for me to bite the bullet and get the Aspec...but do you think the Aspec will cover it? I don't think it will....but I'm hoping someone will tell me otherwise....

Also if it doesn't cover is there anyway for me to cover it up just enough so that when the kit goes on it will look ok?

Cause i really don't want to drop $350 repainting hte bumper and then getting the aspec...

Thanks

Damn! That's crazy! From the looks of it, it doesn't look like anyone had scraped it. It just looks like bad paint like you find with some owners' rides.

Regarding the A-Spec covering it up, it'll cover most of it, except for the bumper part that meets the fender. The kit doesn't cover up all the way to that line.

Yeah most of it will be covered and you can just touch up the rest of it with touch up paint.

everything below the crease and the edge of the bumper where it meets the fender will be covered. You will have a little bit sticking out, nothing a little bit of touchup can't fix.

Do you think its going to be an easy touch up paint job??? You know just prime it wait a few hours, drop some paint, wait a day, then another layer, wait a day and then the clear coat a few times and voila I'm done type deal?

Or would I have to touch it up, then sand it, buff it, wax it, the whole 9 yard it?

Yes the A-Spec rear underspoiler will cover most of it. the rear skirt ride up around where to the bottom of the quarter panel and bumper meet!

A-spec will not cover enough of that. It would still show quite a bit of it to where you would want it fixed anyway. Do it right.

the kit will not cover all of that, there is still going to be a good part of those scratches showing, gonna need to paint it regardless

it'll cover most of it.. just use touch up paint..... i'd rather go that route than painting the whole back bumper over... although our back bumpers ARE a few shades different... hmmmmm.....

spend the 250-300 bucks and get it repainted IMO and dont get the body kit. Never liked kits... even factory

I'm still deciding, cause I do like the look of the A-spec lip kit...but not too keep on repainting the entire bumper and then getting Aspec....But I also don't want to do a crappy touchup job and ruin the look of the Aspec...

Damn i wish i was made of money then I wouldn't think twice about this....

i would say to get some touch up paint and go with the aspec rear lip. it should be good enough so that it isnt noticeable unless you look close up. plus a few scratches like that isn't worth getting your whole bumper repainted.
