So Long Lexus, Hello Acura!
Well I finally pulled the trigger, traded in our '02 Lexus ES300 and picked up a SSM/Ebony/Navi AT tonight. I have spent a month trying to decide which Acura to buy, the TL or the RL. After I decided on the TL then it was the color selection. Once I narrowed it down to either the Satin Silver Metallic or Anthracite, both with Ebony interiors, I then started having second thoughts. I was feeling like I should wait on the '06's or even wait to see what the '06 Lexus IS looks like.
I woke up this morning and was certain I wasn't going to do anything, just keep the Lexus and forget about buying a new car. But I kept thinking about how boring the Lexus was to drive, how the dealer was giving me VERY good $$$ for it on trade, how I FINALLY got them down to invoice, how much more the IS will probably cost or that I won't be able to get an '06 TL at invoice until this time next year. So I said what the heck, called the dealer and told them to get the SSM ready for delivery 'cause I'm comin' down to buy her before I change my mind!
My wife loves the car (it will be her primary ride) and was really pushing me to get it. Now that it's sitting in our garage I know I made the right decision. It looks great setting next to my '04 Silverstone S2000 and Toyota Tundra Dbl. Cab.

Well the TL is more fun and has more issues than the lexus. I am curious if you looked at the ES330 to see if the car drove any better.

Welcome and great choice on gettin the TL. I just left my 2002 Lexus IS 300 and the TL is no disappointment at all.
Sounds like you have the perfect mix of vehicles S2000, Tundra and now the TL. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have....all 3 days so far LOL.
