Exclamation Slight surging while cruising

Whats up Acurazine,

My car surges slightly when I'm cruising between 37 mph - 40 mph. Enough that I can feel it. Has this happened to anyone? No check engine light on.

Thanks!

Are the RPMs jumping around? Or just a slight surge under steady throttle?

See if it does it while cruise is engaged. If it does not, then I would assume the APP sensor would be the first thing I would be looking at.

My car used to surge around 45 mph (5th gear 1500 rpm).

Replacing PCV valve fixed my problem.

Checking your PCV takes a few minutes, so you can quickly eliminate that possibility.

Yeah I can see the RPMs jump about 2-3k. Ill try and see if it does it when the cruise control is on. If it doesnt happen when the cruise is engaged where should i look next?? any ideas.
thanks for the tips.

2-3K RPM jump is rather extreme
My guess would be a trans pressure switch.

What he said. You must have skipped over his advice. Look at replacing the APP sensor.

Plus, while you're there, make sure there's a clean throttle body so they can live happily ever after
