will the 07-08 bumper's 3G fit an 06? cause the parts guy at my local acura dealership said they wouldn't cause of the it mounting points or something like that.. he also said the same thing for the headlights. I was wanting to swap out my 06 front bumer for an 07-08 and get the 07-08 A-Spec lip.. so i was wondering if it was possible? Thanks -Jol-

 

Yes it can be done. If there's a will there's a way . In all seriousness... I also have an 06 TL and I know some members here have done it I just can't recall which member. If you search "A-Spec" and have alot of time you might find it. But i'm very positive it's been done. I'm actually looking to do the mod myself but not sure if it'll cost alot cause I'm still debating on which A-Spec (04-06 or 07-08) to get. Most seem to preffer the a-spec for the 04-06 and I aggree as well that it does look better heheheh.

i believe the mounting points for the headlight were different for the 04 05 compared to the 06 and up (i think)

so since you have an 06 it should be plug and play hopefully others will chime in and confirm, or tell me im totally wrong lol

 

I think the grille and a few other things are different on the 04/05 so you have to get those (not sure exactly what) things along with the bumper to do a conversion. Now I'm not sure that's the same case for the '06....I know there's a thread about this if you try to search b/c I wanted to do this also. There's a few places that have the bumper for around $200 but you'd have to buy the fogs, wiring, new grille, etc...so it's gonna be a decent amount after said and done. Plus I can't do an install b/c I don't have time, so that hurts the cost also

 

x2 ... to do an entire 07 front end conversion is def going to be pricey unless u can find all used parts painted to the color you need, and install them yoursefl
