Simple Question

Let's face it, our cars are somewhat superior to many cars on the road, But when your park next to your buddy's Brand New 3 series or any other car within the same Class do you still feel superior ?

YUP!

I bought my car because I loved it. Not because it was the best I could afford. No matter what parks next to me, I will still feel superior because I'm driving the car that I love.

When I park next to a car 10 fold better than mine, I still feel proud of my car since I worked hard to get it.

I've been in many 3 series...and BMW's alike and I haven't liked being inside of one ever. I get into my TL and I know i'm about to be taken for a ride and love it every day.

As for looks?...followed a modified STi into Best Buy (he was there getting something done apparently) and when i parked the row over from him the moment he got out he looked at my TL the entire 50ft he walked to the service door and I got out and graciously looked at his STi.

Since the TL is more bang for the buck than most cars, I feel I'm getting one over on them due to the value. I'm very proud of my TL-S

Yes....I've already been through my BMW phase. I owned a BMW 5 Series (535i) and the car nickeled and dimed me to death! I feel very confident I own a great car in a competitive class of vehicles. So when I see a BMW next to me, I feel sorry for them-knowing they are probably experiencing the same problems I used to have.

I do not like bimmers so yes I do feel superior when I park next to them. Hell, I used to feel superior when I drove my Accord because Hondas are so much better then Bimmers imo. As for Benz, I do like the look of the 08 models but I LOVE MY TL!!

I don't feel, or need to feel, superior- I just made a different choice that was better for me.

One of my secretaries has a 2007 3-series... I'm going to her to borrow money.

I'm still very happy with my purchase. I got the car because I liked the looks much more than BMW, it's reliable, and decently quick. I actually like the FWD because it keeps me out of temptation. I think it's every bit as good if not better than most BMWs with the exception of road noise.

Most importantly, it makes me happy. I don't buy cars to get girls or impress anyone but myself. With what I pay on the car I could've gotten something much fancier.

Most people will be surpised on the TL's technology and features, performance once they get to know it.

BMW's are very nice, but I love my TL, it's beautiful. After two plus years of ownership I still look forward to getting behind the wheel and driving anywhere, even to work.

But when I park I find a space waaaay far away from everyone. No door dings for me, and the just TL looks great set off by itself!

I love my TL but I've never thought of it as "superior". I like the 3G's styling, the 6MT, and obviously the DVD-A thing but I've never had any illusions that it is "superior". Perhaps a better value for what I like in car but not "superior"

no point in feeling superior; we get what we get because it's in our price range and is what we like.

no need to feel inferior either; everyone's got their own pace,

Before deciding to purchase a TL, I looked at the 3 series, IS, G35 and A4...and I have to say I love my TL...I am not sure about superior or not but I am proud of driving it.

BMW makes great cars but I do not care for their interior...as soon as I sat in the TL it was a done deal...great bang for the buck!
