yes Silver is a VERY common color of cars out there...but there is just somthing about that Metallic silver on the TL and the lines of the car and those side lights that just POP esp. at night!
THe 04 and 05 silver is the same but the 06 is different. I have a 06 silver (alabaster silver metallic). I will put up some pics maybe tomorrow if i take them. TO me there isnt diffence from the SSM.

Yes silver is very common and i totally agree that it shows lines better and thats why i chose it!!!

I found a dealer willing to sell it for $29,400 w/ extended warranty. It's a good price so I'm tempted to get it. Should I stick with Anthracite or will I be happy with the Silver? (By the way my CL was silver).
I had a 04 SSM and went for an 06 and thought I woudl get the Anthacite, but when I pulled up to the dealership and saw the Anthracite with the layer of minor dirt on it I rememebred how hard it was to keep a dark car clean. The Silver has a nice gleam and hides dirt so well so I ended up with another Silver TL. I know those of you with Anthracite and such love it, but I do find Acura's darker colors a little flat, the paint is deep and rich, but the color needs some more richness to it, particularly the red, the new Lexus IS350 Red is to die for!

I'm receiving my silver '06 on Thursday and I can't wait. It was a toss up between silver and anthracite for me. I've had silver cars before, and I also had dark greyish cars, it was time for me to go back to silver. Also, I heard that 40% of all TLs are anthracite, so all things being equal, i just decided to go with the SECOND most common TL color.

I agree with alot of the posters here though, get what you really want, so you won't regret it. You'll be glad you did.
