Sideskirt Opinion Poll

I just added a TL-S rear bumper & exhaust to my Base '06 NBP TL and want to change my side skirts to either the Type-S or A-Spec ones. I have the front under spoiler installed but no plan to install the rear under spoiler, just a personal choice.

To my eye there is only a subtle difference between the two, with the A-Spec set being more aggressive, maybe a bit too much without a rear kit. The biggest difference I see is that you can use color matched splash guards with the Type-S ones but cannot with the A-Spec set.

So A-Zine, which would flow best with my existing setup?

1: Type-S Side skirts
2: A-Spec Side skirts
3: Type-S Side skirts w/ front & rear color matched splash guards
4: A-Spec Side skirts w/ rear only color matched splash guards

Thanks to all in advance.

I did the same mod and was considering option 2 and 3. The only reason I like option 3 is because it keeps crap off of your car and they're color matched, so it adds a little to the stock Type-S rear bumper. In the end I think I will go with the A-Spec sides since I prefer these body lines more, but still not sure about the rear Type-S aspec lip. Good luck with your choice!

Aspec side skirts complete the flow from the front, even without the rear Aspec, but I'd just (and did) do the whole kit

I've got #3...

Going to change to A-spec Front/Side/Rear soon though (removing the splashguards)

I've got a weird combo of my own. A spec front with stock type s side skirts with NON color matched bud guards lol.

Only way I would switch to a spec side skirts is if I find them cheap cause the difference is not worth the cost to me.

Thanks to all for your votes, comments and pics; the pics are really helpful! Good to see some of the possible (weird combo) variations...

BigPZ, your comments past and present are slowly changing my mind; and your TL is a beauty.

I guess my main question is will the A-Spec skirts sharper bottom edge flow well with the Type-S rear bumper's thicker bottom edge? If so then I can go with A-Spec skirts & possibly a set of rear only splash guards.
