I have a 2006 TL and I was thinking about adding fogs to it. I tried searching to see if there were any old posts about the differences between the OEM fog kits versus the Accord fog kits, but couldn't find any...

Does anyone know what the differences are?

there are no OEM 2006 fog lights, as the fog lights are integrated into the headlight housing.

so, the best and cheapest way to add fogs would be to buy OEM 03-05 accord sedan fogs.

 

I'm confused then. I PM'd a vendor and he said that it's an OEM fog kit. Perhaps the '07-'08 fog kit? I should ask for clarity...

So the Accord fogs are just a cheaper option to getting fogs...

Basically. OEM fogs from the dealer are like 200 a piece. (exaggerated price)

 

The vendor is Ack. I initially asked him about the fog kit and installation. I PM'd him again asking for clarification.

 

he'll hook you up with whatever you need.
he's a great guy and knows his stuff.
he wont sell you the wrong items.

 

When you PM'd the vendor he either meant

It's a OEM fog kit for the 03-05 Accord (Will work on the 04-06 TL, just requires some cutting to fit the fogs)

or

It's a OEM fog kit for the 07-08 TL

like Justn said, there are no OEM fog kits for the 04-06 TL.

There is no OEM "kit" for TL '07/'08 fogs.

You can probably find and assemble the various parts and make a "kit", but unlike the Accord fogs, you can't order a single part number and get all the parts in a pre-packaged kit.

I'm sure Ack knows what he's doing and may even have "built" a "kit" to make the conversion/sale easier.

 

He got back to me and said that the OEM fog kit that he mentioned is actually the OEM Accord fog kit.
