I have an 04' TL I recently picked up and I noticed it has side markers on the car, are they supposed to blink or light up when your making turns? They are'nt doing anything as of right now, the car is still under warranty so if anyone knows if they are supposed to light up please let me know and I will bring it into the shop!

 

Nope. The sidemarkers only light up when you switch on your parking lights. They don't blink with your turn signals.

 

i've seen some people wire them to blink though, apparently it's not that tough.

I have the 04' TL , what years do you guys have and your absolutely sure they blink??

 

from the factory, they dont blink.

after being modded, they can be made to blink.

 

seems kind of pointless to not have the front ones blink from the factory

i want to wire ours up to the turn signals soon

 

07 TL-S does blink.

 

04 does NOT blink - just the newer models to...i think just 07 and up...04 - 06 just stay lit when ur lights are on....

 

07-08 don't blink either... just the rear view mirror LED blink...

However, my sidemarkers BLINK too...
