Where can I guy the passsenger side mirror glass. have been trying to look it up online, but couldnt find a place.

I was thinking of just replacing the mirror glass. the housing assembly is in perfect condition. Somebody hit the mirror shut, when I opened it the mirror was cracked and popped out. I pushed it back in, but now need to replace the mirror glass alone

 

my mirror has some sort of rust spot on it or something like that. i'm out of warranty so i need the glass as well. let me know how it goes, and if its cheaper to just go with the 07 style mirrors.

 

The mirrors.. you can get at an acura dealer. For me, they cost like 45 canadian each. I am going to buy some soon, myself. The brown stains are annoying me... and I'm not the one who caused them! [damn previous owner!]

 

will the 07 side mirrors work on the 05 TL ? cos i think the 07 has blinking side mirrors...

 

I'm sure they do. I'm more than positive.. you just need to wire them up with your turn-signals.... I think... I mean it's only logical, right?

 

the new mirrors (07) are plug n play except for 1 wire the turning signal marker....basically u clip it and run it to the turn signal circuit wire...... another thing u have to do when u get the 07 one u have to take the bolts off the old ones and shave em down a lil, so you can fit them on the new ones so they fit in the door.

I have to replace my passenger side mirror. Any idea thr process if just replacing the mirror? are they glued or is it a snap-on type of install? I have a nasty brown spot on mine. $21 and $23 are the two prices I'm finding online.

 

what model is your car. And what website are you getting tose prices from? For my model 2005 it is just a snap on

 

tks nasty188 for ur post. www.oemacuraparts.com or any of the other online places do not carry morror glass after the year 2003 for TL. They have for MDX for some reeason but no other model 2004 to 2007. or previous year models

Would any other cars, or models mirror glass fit? anybody?

how much would it cost to get the 2007 mirrors? Just wondering

Tks ajs800, Like I said I was looking for the inside mirror glass not the whole assembley.

 

I would try the same thing first you never no whta you could find for a very cheap price.

 

my 04 TL is developing more "rust" spots on the passenger mirror. I have the extended warranty; is that a covered repair?

 

Thesandu, that breakdown shows the mirror (#2 or #6) as a separate part. Your post made it sound as if you can only buy the entire assembley.

I wouldn't bother with a junk yard when a new mirror can be purchased for $21.

See if this may help. I followed these steps when I replaced my driver side one because of the brown edges. Its not too hard once you find the right pressure point.

 

There are quite a few on ebay.

 

Where did someone find them for $21-23???
