I've looked all over for the last 3 days. Needing a drivers side REAR side marker. Found plenty on ebay and amazon, but for base TL's. And yes (as it appears) the Type S connector will NOT fit a base TL side marker. The Type S has a wider connector. Dealer wants $105 for the OEM part, it's looking like my only option unless someone can help. I went to a pick and pull here in my hometown that had a 2007 base TL, and grabbed both rear side markers (red vs smoke) and they will not match up, not that I would of used the red ones anyway but I was curious if Acura really made the Type S side markers a different "size" connection wise....which they did. Anyone have an idea/info?

 

It’s been a long time since installation. But I installed the type-s side markers on my base. I don’t recall it being to hard. And I didn’t have to change anything (clip or wiring wise).

Thank you so much! The one on Ebay would be perfect if only it was for the drivers side rear versus the passenger rear. Looks like my best option may be the other link you posted., Thanks again, if anyone has any other suggestions holler at me!
