2007 3.5TL S Type

I just purchased a 2007 3.5TL S Type. I used own 2003 3.2 TL base model which I serviced every 3750 miles followed by minor, intermediate, and the major service.

Does the 2007 3.5TL S Type have a different maintenance schedule than the base 2007 TL?

I just got a new one also and its the same book and the same times. Acura suggests you wait on the first oil change until there is less than 20% life left since its break-in oil.

I think Acura abandoned the numbering thing a few years back.

Remember how they used to have things like that:

1.6EL
2.5TL
3.2TL
3.5RL

Maybe because each model had various engine options?

now it is just RSX, CSX, TL, TSX, RL, RDX, MDX, TL-Type S.

Maybe because each model ine only have 1 engine type now? Who knows...That is what I think atleast.

For those who don't know, the CSX is a Canadian exclusive. Not sure why it isn't on the American website. Maybe it is cause of different population preferences or soemthing.

It is a more luxurious version of the Honda Civic......quite popular too....
