Type S rear side markers on a base
The plug isn't the same, but it fits with very little force.
I was worried, at first also.
But then I told myself people have been doing it for years now, and not ONE reported to break anything when plugging the connector in.

if you get the depo ones they are plug and play. You might need to slim down the foam padding it comes with so they fit nicely.. Do not force them in take your time so you dont bent or dent the area around the light.
Are dealers willing to sell type-s sidemarkers to be used on non type-s cars? If so, are those side markers a lot more expensive than the base ones? Base ones go for around 70$ or something if i recall.

Dealers will sell you anything lol
Their list price is a tiny bit more expensive, like $5 US.

What do you need from honda? I have to go pick up some stuff too (namely the accord switch) so 2 birds one stone
I got them in... but 1 doesn't fit flush.. it has a gap where I can pull on it... any ideas why.... also I broke 2 clips that hold the liner.. and I can't screw in 2 of the cargo screws... smh.. reasons why I don't do stuff myself.. but at least they are in...
^weird why one doesn't sit flush.
Maybe try removing it, by pushing from inside towards outside, and then use even pressure pushing from outside in.? It's been so long since I installed them (don't recall any problems). But if I remember correctly there are two points where it needs to "clip in", and maybe a little more force will help it. ?

Oh its in... just not flush.. I think it's bent.. because when I press the corner.. it will straighten.. but then it goes back up slightly... I might just buy 1 new one from the dealer... or maybe I'll forget about it in a week.. lol
