It's up to you. Only you can decide what's right for your car. Unless you have a lot of debris on the road up there, I don't see how snow can damage your body kit since it doesn't make the car that much lower unless you've installed the suspension kit as well.

I'm going with the A-Spec kit because I want a clean look.

I live in chicago, we have similar weather conditions, I have the RonJon kit and haven't had any problems.... I prefer full bumper replacements like the RonJon instead of the add-ons like the A-Spec kit. In the end, its up to you and what you like...

I'm in Chicago and have the aspec. I wont drive the car when there is heavy snow or salt, but I have taken it out and it's fine clearance wise.

(low snow levels)

The best i have seen I think are when people mix and match ronjon and a-spec such as a-spec front and rj sides and rear

Ron Jon Kit....hands down! Don't be fooled about not getting a clean look on a Ron Jon kit. I just had my kit painted and installed this weekend, and it looks great. The car looks great, and that's the only mod on the car, no wheels, drops etc. In the short time I've driven it, I've gotten madd stares........A-spec don't get attention like that. Thanks Ron!

Lately, I am in the market for a 04 TL. I too have pondered the very same question... On thing, you might consider is the resell value down the road. An a-spec might be more acceptable to the general public where the ron jon may be consider too ricy or kids like. also ron jon is pricy $1500+$700paint+install. A-spec $800 painted+install.

Personally I love the ron jon, but don't have that much cash to burn. either way, it will be a awesome ride.

The Ron Jon kit is DEFINITELY not ricy. It is a very clean, professional looking body kit. It makes the TL look more aggressive, it complements the lines beautifully, and is a perfect fit. I doubt it would affect resale value in a negative way.
