Should I double tape it?

Today I found out that near the moonroof, the interior is teared, but not that severe. I don't know if I should double tape the head liner? Any opinions or tips on how I should get it to stick together?

same prob

is it torn or just hanging down? i had the same thing happen to my car, it hung down right there on the part by the moonroof/ someone got a lil rowdy and yanked it down a bit, i thought it was bad but there is a thread on here about it, just look around somwhere. It says to either:

1. replace some clips it has, they dont stick anymore and you need new ones

2. the clip/sticky isnt holding right and all you have to do is push it back up and it will snap back in place

thats what happened with mine, i just popped it back into place and it stuck on good and havent had a problem since. just my

I would recommend taking it to the dealer and tell them to do something better than new clips. This is an ongoing issue with the 4th gen headliners. I myself have had numerous trips to the dealer and each time they just stuck some new hook and latch adhesive clips, but after several days in the sun/elements they just slipped off again! They went so far as to replace the entire headliner and to no fail, it drooped again. Finally they got a little innovative and decided to use epoxy like substance and it has stuck since (knock on wood). Go to the dealer and request something more permanent. Good luck.
