Service at Dealer for 2007 TL Need help
Guys I bought the 2007 TL with the 75k miles
Brought the car to the dealer and they ran a diagnostic and mechanical inspection and the cars if fine. They recommend I do the following:
Transmission fluid change
Power string fluid flush
Brake fluid flush
Radiator Flush
Should I do the fluids at the dealer? I don’t think any mechanic can do the flush. What about a quick lube place?
Also need two new tires what kind to you guys recommend?
Thanks for your help

Any mechanic can do the flush, don't take that BS from the dealer.
Some of those I'm sure you can DIY, but if you don't want to, you'd be better off finding asking around for a mechanic that people trust and can recomend to you, and have it done there. It will more than likely be done cheaper, and in many cases, properly.

Brake fluid flush... It should be able to wait since the recommended interval is 3 years for the first, and every year after that, atleast to my knowledge.
Power-steering, easy way to change it is take a turkey baster, suck up the old fluid from the container and pour in new fluid, works well.
Radiator, no idea on that.
don't go to those quick lube places, they do a shitty job. Go to a trusted mechanic or shop, if you post up a generic area like a city or county, members might be able to recommend somthing for you.

for the trans, ALWAYS go with the honda trans fluid, I think its called Z-1 fluid.

check the owners manual. A lot of it sends like bs. Never heard of replacing power steering fluid. Brake fluid is every 4 years i believe. Isn't the radiator fluid good for at least 100k, if not more?
I'd say the fluids in a two year old car with 75k miles would be in much better shape than a five year old car with the same mileage.
FYI I bough a two year old 98 oldsmobile intrigue with 94k highway miles (it was my in-laws sales car). I sold it to a coworker five years later with a 180k miles - it never really gave me any problems and ran great.

NOT on the transmission fluid-- a machine flush is specifically prohibited by Acura/Honda. IIRC, it's in the owner's manuals, which are linked through the stickied 3G Garage thread on the main 3G TL page.
Manuals: https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/...01_OMANUAL.asp.
None of the other fluid changes requires a machine, either.
Changing the coolant is a Maintenance Minder service code "5"- A5 or B5- which probably takes place @ 120K or so, after the big timing belt/water pumps- Maintenance Minder code 4, or 105K under the non-Maintenance Minder system.

Thanks guys.
I wanted to do the fluids since i just to the car and wanted to start fresh. The dealer told me that the trans and the coolent is dirty.
PS will be done with the hose(thanks csm.)
They recomanded to do the brake.
How is the flush done if you dont need a machine. Thought the push air or some kind of liquid to push the old oil out and replace with new.

The brake fluid change can be done via vacuum pump, or 2-person method for bleeding per page 19-9 (scanned out of sequence) in post #1 at https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/brakes-caliper-o-h-pad-repl-hoses-bleed-disc-specs-park-brake-adj-3g-garage-d-041-a-578017/.
The old brake fluid in each brake line must be bled out-- just changing the fluid in the reservoir will leave old fluid in the lines.
