Seat Memory Function

I just bought an '04 TL but it didnt come with a manual. Until I get one, I guess I'm stuck posting questions. How does the seat memory thing work? I want to change it to my settings, but I can't seem to do it. Any help would be great, thanks!

stop car, put E- brake on,, adjust seat to desired position, hit memory button (next to 1 and 2) then designate either 1 or 2

Another little tip you can try if you prefer a little extra room getting in/out is to set your seat preference to 2, and set 1 all the way back and down. When you unlock the car with remote 1 it will drop down and back, get in, hit 2 and it adjusts to your driving preference and you're off.

I also do the same. Works great since the door pivot point is pretty far back it doesn't give a lot of room unless the seat is further back. That's probably why the doors swing out so far before the spring holds them open.
