Question Seat Memory Bug?

Would someone please describe the seat memory bug symptom(s) to me? Twice yesterday, the seat position was fine and remained that way, but while driving, the driver's mirror repositioned itself significantly.

What is your VIN #? If it is >21000 (or vicinity), you shouldn't have any problems.

The memory seat issue is not what you described, I have a vin in the 1,800 range, the issue was that the memory would disappear on its own, and the lights would not be on on either of the two buttons.

If the seat was moved, and you pushed a memory button that was previously programed, NOTHING would happen, hence it lost it's memory.

Yours sounds like a faulty sensor, I think I heard of anouther person with the same condition. Bring it in.

When you reverse the vehicle should both outside mirrors tilt downward or just the passenger? My passenger mirror goes down but not the driver

If you move the mirror switch on the dash to the right the passenger one will tilt. Neither in the middle and driver mirror to the left.

Also since last October no memory seat problems.

Thanks Jss1,
I never in my life would have figured that out. I thought I was crazy but when I first got the car I had thought it was the driver side that tilted, but then it was always passengers side. Just played with it and you have solved the dilemma for me . Im not crazy, boy is that a first, me not crazy.

Interesting that the affected VIN range stops at 18476. My number is 18500, and it has the problem. What this means is probably that my dealer won't fix it.

I think the Acura brochure states something vague like "outside mirrors tilt in reverse" I also thought both would go down...think the manual describes it. Kinda wish both would go down, but then again, kinda wish the car could park itself, and auto pilot... maybe the '06 model....
