Seat Comfort

For anyone who has driven there car on a trip of 4 to 6 hours, how would you rate the seat comfort? I drive a 1999 Accord EX and I'm thinking about getting a TL. If the TL seats are any thing like the Accord after 4 hours; hard as a rock I think that I will have to pass.

4000 miles in 3 weeks of ownership, i've had several Honda's before.

The seats in the TL do not even compare to any of the standard seats in any Honda that I have owned. Night & Day.

After a straight drive of 400 miles I could have jumped back in the car & driven another 400, that comfortable, not even a comparison to a standard Honda seat.

just my .02

I'm 6' 2" and normally fidget w/ my seat constantly to try and stay comfortable on a long trip - always to no avail. However.....

I flew to Atlanta to pick up my car and drive it back to Dallas. The wife came along for relief driving duties. She didn't have to! About the only seat I've been in that compares in level of comfort/support for someone my size is an A8.

860 miles later, I felt jest FINE!

Now if they'd only fix the memory seat loss issue. It happened for the first time to me today.....

I'm like drising, I'm 6'3" and have problems in my 2001 accord, but the new TL is amazing. Drove it about 700 Km to get her home and didn't need to stop once for a stretch break.

All true, and when compared with the seats in the 2nd generation TLs, its really a great improvement. My Legends had amazingly comfortable, roomy driver's seats. I still miss them a bit.

Agree, acuraddict, my 94 Legend has the good/comfortable leather seat, too.

I didn't get used to 04TL's chair until second week. It's wider and more support than my legend's. But, basically it's pretty cozy and snug for a trip.
