Angry Scraped bottom of bumper pulling out of steep driveway!

I've scraped that little black thing under the car a few times, but this time I finally blew it. I was pulling out of a steep driveway when I heard the scrape and I knew it wasn't good. The bottom inch of about an 18 inch section of the front bumper has scrape marks from the road. It's not too noticeable on the silver, but I can definitely see it if I'm standing in front of my car. What's the best way to touch this up? Does the dealer sell touch up paint? Can an autobody place touch this up without a full bumper repaint? How much would it cost? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks,

Mick

you can buy dupicolor at any auto supply place but it will not fill in the scratch. For that you need some bondo. Trust me you w ill f**k it up. A repaint and fill is around 300 in my neck of the woods( I know becasue I backed into my cleaning lady when she parked behind my garage and took the car in for an estimate for repainting the rear bumper.

We(my father) did the same but the clear bra seems to have saved the bumper from a repaint, rather it just needs a new bra in that corner.

Would this problem be fixed by replacing it with an A-spec lip?

Now you have a reason to "upgrade."

Mobile bumper repair guys can do it for about $200-250 to fix it like new. A good one can make it look like nothing ever happened.

yea,

i f**d up the front bumper last week out of a steep driveway.

God, this car is too low.

Now, its probably going to cost 300 to fix. The problem is, it might happen again, because sometimes its hard to be very careful everytime out of or into steep driveways.

Quit 'yer bitchin'

At least oil changes are easy with our TL. My G35 Coupe on the other hand... It can't clear my low-profile ultra-ramps, as it hits the front lip. Using my slim hydraulic floor jack is a chore as well, as those barely clear. (Have to use a screwdriver to raise the car the first several inches, before the bar can clear the lip)

And my cars are stock height, I don't know how people do it sometimes.
