Will NOT work. You'll also scratch up your interior while you try it, and regret it very much. Try to borrow a friend's truck.

where do you live? try and post a thread in the regional section to see if someone local with a truck will help you.

Im moving from Kansas to Ventura, CA. I think im gonna trade my 50" Samsung DLP for my parents' 50" Samsung LCD. I think that should work. Plus its an upgrade!

Yep what he said, that is my car. It was a 50" plasma that did the damage. Do yourself a favor and rent a truck.

ok, i just got what you are asking... I thought you were trying to mount the TV in the back seat. I was like wtf is this guy thinking?!

HOWEVER, i have a samsung 52" DLP Slimline. And i did manage to fit that honker in there with the back windows down and no damage to the car. I had a friend help me too. But i would not recommend doing it. I just had no choice at the time.

FWIW I fit a 52" LCD in my backseat.

I didn't remove the stand, so my doors were a little shredded, but if the stand was removed it would've gone in and out easily.

The box my DLP came in barely got into the MDX. I wouldn't try the TL...

Here is a pic of moving my 50" Samsung Plasma. I removed the stand and bubble wrapped the hell out of it. I also placed a sleeping bag on the backseat so it wont scratch the leather seats. And also packed a few boxes in the foot area of the backseat. It fit exactly right... anything bigger wouldnt work.

I think you should put the mattress in your 05 just for the picture sake!

Then you can post the picture on failblog.

Well, now we know!!! Is that filed under miscellaneous TL information? I'm sure this will come in handy for another TL'er somewhere down the line.
