Sad Day Today

Truly is a sad day; after 30+ years of production, Acura has decided to end production of the TLX. Although the 'TL' nameplate was retired a few years ago, it would've been what the 'TLX' is today.

Hearing the news made me reminisce the days these cars were being rolled out of the Marysville plant into the hands of thousands of happy owners. Many of whom were once active on this forum. Took a stroll down memory lane into some of the delivery threads w/ photos taken from 2MP cameras.

So grateful that at one point Honda gave us such a legendary product. The 3G TL will always be the greatest sedan Honda produced in my eyes.

Pour one out for the Acura Vigor / 2.5TL / 3.2TL / TL / TSX / TLX today

I think acura reached their peak in the early to mid 2000s. I only like the naturally aspirated options and without the cylinder deactivation technology.

not really sad day. Acura brought this upon themself, between under performing and outdate techs vs asking price. Dealer mark up with attitude "we know what we got" is the final nail to the coffin.
