Angry rust!

has anybody seen rust forming on the rear bumper? i noticed one spot a couple of months ago but figured it was just dirt because it was right under where the trunk lip met the bumper but today i noticed alot more spots in all different locations of the rear bumper. i really question whether or not acura does any quality testing at all!

How can it be rust if the rear bumper is plastic?

Most likely Rail dust in/on the paint. That is if its actually on the paint and your not talking about under the bumper somewhere....

Get a clay bar to remove it. Then coat with a good wax etc.

Just another example of someone whining w/o doing one moments thought or research. Go right into whining about rust on a plastic bumper.

As KJSmitty said, if it's rail dust, it's quite easy to remove with a clay bar. If you've never clayed your car before, there are some informative threads on this site which will help. Also www.zainostore.com has some informative pages on their site pertaining to claybarring a car.

Hope this helps!
