Running wires from dash to trunk

Hey guys, I just took apart my less then a week old car...and started to run some wires for my gauges, edfc, and some other electrtical goodies.

To all those who have the experience, where would be the easiest place to run wires from the dash area back to the trunk? Down the middle under the console? Along side of the center console? on the left side, right side? Under the seats?

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

I removed the center console and back seat and ran wires for my Sirius and laser detector through there.

I suppose you could also run under the door sills. IIRC, much of the car's wiring goes this way (both left and right).

With the parts that have to be removed, I would guess that one approach is just as much work as the other.

You will have to remove the rear seat bottom at least. It is held in place by two plastic latches in the front and a bolt on the passenger side near the seat belt latch. Dont confuse the seat belt latch anchor bolt for this, the bolt you want is a few inches to one side. And black so you can't see it in the dark. The plastic latches have a little T-handle that you pull toward the front to unlatch them. Youll have to push down on the seat to relax the pressure on the latch. Makes then hard to reach.

You may or may not need to remove the seat back. I removed it and realized I did not need to do that (you do if you want to get to the speakers) for running the wires. I used 'fish wire' and pulled every thing back to the trunk with no other issues.

Stereo installs you will see on here usually go under the door sills on the passenger side.
