Rubberized Key ring? Dumb Acura Design

I'm in search of a rubberized key ring for the Acura Key. Why in the world would Acura make where the key ring attaches to metal? I dont know about you guys but mine rattles and it's rather annoying. My past BMW and Lexus had a rubber or plastic hole where the key ring goes into so it never rattled.

I've been to autozone, Pepboys, and even the dealer... and no one knows where I can get a rubberized key ring.

If I provided the community with rubberized key rings (red blue white or black) would you guys buy them for 3 bucks? I can create them, but not sure if people here would want them.

For me, all I put on the keyring is an xsport gym card and an emergency house key. It used to rattle like crazy when I drove, and no longer does when I drive. So if people are interested I will make more, but wont be worth to make if not enough people want them.

btw, I scoured ebay, google, and various people at my dealership and no luck at all.

1) Go to the hardware store and get a short length of very small diameter rubber, silcone, or neoprene tubing.

2) Cut a small piece lengthwise to the length of the key ring circumference. Think of plastic wire loom on cars.

3) Use the slit in the tubing to fit on the inside of the key ring.

4) Done!!!!

You can also get a small can of "Tool Dip" siclonized rubber in colors. It's used to coat handles of pliars, etc. Just dip your keyring, hand it up to dry, and recoat if you want it thicker. Stuff works really well, and you can recoat it any time it wears off.

I asked about this couple of weeks ago, and a member suggested this: http://cgi.ebay.ca/Honda-Goldwing-Ke...QQcmdZViewItem

It should fit our switchblade key, but the buttons and holes won't align perfectly.

I asked the seller when will they make one for acura's switchblade keys. They said to check back towards the end of the year.
