I think I may end up spending more money on my car than originally planned, lol. I do like that grille, though.

I'm lovin it! Maybe even set the Acura symbol in the middle, so it seems like it's floating.

Where are the PS experts- can you try the floating "A" in this grille?

Just for the record, We went thru this ina few threads, and I've come to the conclusion that we aren't goign to put the "A" symbol up for a few reasons:
1.) we can't used Acura's logo.
2.) lookign for a clean custom RJSD logo only look.

The grille isn't even 100% goign into production now anyway, I'm more focused on the kit itself.

When the grille becomes available- I'll be the first buyer ( or test fitter).

I got to agree, thats why I didn't put the Acura symbol on the grill in the photoshop. It just didn't look right at all. If you look at the picture it looks much cleaner and free flowing then a Acura symbol floating the middle.

Ok you wanted them so here you are.

My preference.

This is with both logos.

And with just the grill and Acura symbol.

So now what do you all think. I still like the first one.

mesh would not be in the range of possibilities, we have to go with preforated aluminum sheets or a single plate style piece of fiberglass / urethane with the openings to let in the air. Production has these limits soemtimes.

Another mention of a new grille. I'm just waitin, waitin for this. When when?

That is a 2007 grille, I wonder how the 04-06 with that treatment would look. I think with the floating A it looks better. Not everything looks accurate with photoshop and we'd have a better idea if there was an actual prototype. I plan on doing the mod myself in a couple months.

But I think we're threadjacking here since this is RJ's thread and he said he's not looking at it just yet. I hope he at least sees again there's demand for this.

Maybe, but where theirs a will, theirs a way. Even if it means cuting the built in grill off, But you might be right.

here's a simple version of the grille, just a bit thicker and more dimensional grille suround that can be painted OEM body color.

Man, I guess you can say those Legend rims are a hit Rondog!!!

As for the grill, can you make like an updated announcement or something saying like: Hear ye! Hear ye! I can't do 04-06 TL grills right now. I am too busy working on other projects. But I can drop a grill like it's hot around blah, blah, blah...

That way people like me can stop bugging you about it! LOL!

P.S. - If it's somewhere in those 11 pages already, I apologize. But damn, 11 pages Rondog? LOL!

If we do a grille for the 07, which will probably look nice and simple like this, than we will most likely do one for the 04-06 too, just different part number to fit. Just waiting till everything is final before any off official annoucements.

Would it be possible to get some Acura "A" logo center caps on the dark Legends instead of the RJ...not that I want to sport the brand but I like to look subtly stock @ times...

Cool we're finally talking about the grille. Well my opinion is that it would look better without the horizontal chrome bar, anyone else agree?

We are not alone in that Rocky! Some other folks like that photochop pic too! You saw Rondog's response right? He said that he will do something for us in our 04-06 TL the same time he hooks up the 07! So see, we are making some progress man! Which one of those pics do you like the best? I think it's here or in my grill thread that I mentioned the two I like. I think that center bar just needs to go period! I would rather not have the A, then to have that bar! If I do have the bar, I want it all blacked out and the A chrome or something to make it look like it's floating!

Just like Rondog changed his mind numerous times about the rims, he can change his mind about that bar!

I like the sides. Leave the opening on the right. How will it look if the car is White?

Ok not sure if this is what you wanted, but this is using RonJon's base pic of an 04-06' TL just without the bar.

Hope this is what you meant.

And here is another of the whole look of the car. With the grill you wanted...I Think. Oh and 07' model, not 04-06, but just think of the same look.

As you can tell by the time that I posted this its late and I was trying to figure out how to color change the car, but I'm not to that level yet.

Need opinion on 18's Legends..... Im in a process of ordering tires and Im definitely going to get 40 series but, what do u guys think would look better 245 or 235. Im more wondering how the sidewalls will look on these wheels between these sizes. Is there a big difference ?

not really the right thread to ask in, but try the tire calculator at 1010tires.com, it will give you various dimensions.

Sidewall is the same, the tire is about 1/2" wider on the 245. I run 245/40ZR18 on my summer wheels and it fills the wheelwells nicely. I will run the same tire when my Legends come in.
