the RJ body kits sure looks better but it costs $2100!!
and for the A-spec body kit, it's not as nice looking but ONLY 799$!!
so from this big range of price...
which one would you choose?

If you want to be different and if money is not an issue... go with the RJ Kit.. Especially there is a lot of TL's in the street now a days...

how about waiting for the 07 TL and spending the $$ to upgrade to 07 if the "refresh" model is a lot different from the 04-06 models. The STOCK 07 will stand out against the a-spec or rj 04-06 and you will have a new car!!! Now the only catch is IF there is going to be a substantial amt of difference between current TLs and 07 model. That's what i am waiting for right now before i either get aspec or rj......this saturday can't come soon enough!!!!

i'd personally go with the A-Spec kit. the RJ kit is cool, but it seems a little over done. That's just my opinion though

Anybody have any clue to how much a dealer would charge me to install the ASPEC kit? I'm talking about just the front, rear and side pieces............I'd love to buy the kit but afraid to attempt installatin myself. Curious to the installation cost before I ask the dealer myself?

here are some full kits for comparrision, our kit is 1.5" lower all around than the A-Spec, and a bit more in some areas of the front middle and rear, like 2.5" lower.

^^^^^ not sure about the e-bay kits, but the factory a-spec kit comes pre finished and you will need to order it to match the paint color code on your door jamb

I think it was asked earlier in this thread.. but... by the looks of things, the side skirts looks similar to the stocks. So cant people just buy the front and rear spoilers?

I would go with the Aspec like every one else have said it is a more subtle look, I have the Aspec for those reasons. Also I am not really a fan of the RJ back but I love the RJ front, to me it doesn't look like it fit (meaning the lines). It looks like it is out of place, the lines on the RJ back doesn't match he lines of the car. I looks boxy in my opinion.

First of all, where are you finding an A-spec for that price? I like the Ron Jon, but only sometimes. But the A-spec always looks classy to me.

My Acura needs a "face life and a haircut"

Guys,
I have an antracite 05 TL that I'm looking to sweeten up.
She's a very nice girl but she needs black rims, a body kit with fog lights, and a few minor things.

I'm wondering what you guys think about me installing an aspec kit on a base mondel or do you think I should install the aspec kit on and install a rear s type aspec bumper?

It is entirely up to you, but getting each part separate will be hard. Most people like the Type-S rear especially with the quad tip outlets. I do agree at most part it does look good, but you will have to spend more money on this procedure because of cutting of the bumper to fit the Rear A SPEC (of course if you're handy with cutting the bumper, it would be a good investment). I like the A SPEC base front, A SPEC base sides, A SPEC Type-S rear with ATLP Quads + Accord Fogs for the front with A SPEC wheels and drop. Now that looks amazing.

I'm going to zombiefiy this thread.

Is the only difference between the A spec and Type S A spec the rear exhaust size?

I'm trying to find pictures that compare A spec to type s A spec.
