Reverse lights + plate lights + side marker lights

Trying to get everything as bright as possible and in 5k. I browsed the forums a bit but as far as I can tell, most of the links (especially JLC) are dead. Anybody still sell any LEDs? And what kind should I get?

Go to High Performance LED Car Lighting, Light Bulbs, LED Headlights, Taillights, Turn Signals, and Brake Lights

They are having a 10% off sale for memorials day which ends at midnight tonight.

Use these for license plate lights - http://www.vleds.com/5k-white-4-led-...58-1-pair.html

Use these for reverse lights - http://www.vleds.com/shop-bulb-numbe...79-1-pair.html

If you are talking about the actual side marker, those aren't replaceable with a bulb. You would have to buy new side markers from USR (Unique Style Racing).

Awesome. You're the man! Just what I'm looking for. And I take it I gotta buy both twice, right?

For the side markers, I'm looking at this:
2004 2008 Acura TL Smoked White LED 4piece Front Rear Side Marker Light Type S | eBay

Can anyone chip in their 2 cents?

One quantity = both bulbs, so buy once

Those sidemarkers are pretty common.
They're from Unique Style Racing.

I'm personally not a fan of aftermarket sidemarkers as they usually have a different lens diffuser design. The only way I would get white sidemarkers is if I open up the OEM sidemarkers and solder on LEDs, which is probably more work than what most people would want

Also according to this guide:

Color Differences of LED Lighting - 3K, 3.6K, 4.3K, 5K, 6K

I might be better off with 6k. 5k looks kinda yellow but it's suppose to be pure white. My halos are 6k (white with a hint of blue) and the side markers off ebay look like 6k as well (if not more), I might as well go with 6k then.

From what I hear about VLEDs, you'll probably want 6K.

At least this is from what I hear about Tritons.
Some people complained 5K was a pale white.
Sure, some people dig that look but most people I know, including you actually prefer a VERY light hint of blue.

Those ebay side markers sold by fishcake are the ones I was talking about. His ebay name is fishcake and his website is https://www.uniquestyleracings.com/i...te=common/home

Both the same people.

As for the LEDs I linked the prices you see is for 2 bulbs, not 1 like you are thinking.

Everything from VLEDs is usually sold in pairs unless stated otherwise (sold as single, sold individually, sold as 1, etc)

You will notice in the title it says "1 PAIR" meaning 2 bulbs per order. Left and right.

Yah I'm going with 6k.

This is very important that I believe not a lot of people realize:

1 5k bulb =/= another 5k bulb (or led for that matter)

5k is suppose to be pure white. The more expensive ones usually follow this rule. The less expensive ones usually don't. Or maybe I'm just crazy. I just noticed that some bulbs have a very light hint of blue while others don't. It's not too big of a deal but some people (like myself) have major OCD. I guess I'll just learn to live with it lol.

Thanks to everyone that contributed. You guys are awesome!

Just so ya know those USR Side markers are actually 5k pure white. I have them.

As far as the v3 tritons go the 5k versions are very slightly yellow. The 6k version are more in line with 5k color.

Every other 5k VLED bulb is truly 5k pure white with no yellow or blue.

Trust me when I say that, I consider myself a 5k led aficionado. I avoid 6k and all white leds that look 6k at all costs. Looks cheap to me.

Those are sold as singles and cost over $50 a pair. You can buy those on eBay for $20-$30 a pair

Good advice. I've been busy with work so I haven't ordered them yet but am about to.

5/6k seems like the sweet zone for most. Going over into 8-10k range is too ridiculous. Seeing blue/purple headlights with 25% of your original visibility is a joke.

Okay, I finally got around to ordering these lights:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/121656058907?rmvSB=true
About to order these as well:
5K WHITE 4 LED HIGH POWER BULBS 194 168 158 160LM | 1 PAIR
5K WHITE 15 LED HIGH POWER BULBS 917 918 920 921 922 923 579 500LM | 1 PAIR - 921 LED - Shop Bulb #

But I'm still undecided between 5k and 6k. In their guide:
Color Differences of LED Lighting - 3K, 3.6K, 4.3K, 5K, 6K

It looks like 5k is white with a hint of yellow (which I don't want) and 6k is white with a hint of blue. There's no pure white? And which would go better with the side markers I just ordered? I think I should probably go 6k to match my halos.

I would stay away from eBay.

Yah everybody recommends the USR side markers.

So okay, I'll go with 5k.

Is 6k that blue or is it just a hint of bulb?

Still undecided like a woman :/
