I was in the process of doing this to. I bought a set of switchbacks, plates, and resistors from a member here. On the resistors which one of the wires is negative and postive. Better yet i have search and came up with nothing. Is there a diy for front switchbacks install. I have seen Fulani's but its for the rear signals. Thanks and sorry to thread jack!

That is what I used super easy to follow. It will only take you about 30 minutes to complete

coming from an electronic's engineering background, you purchased the 6 ohm resistors and connected them in parrellel with would give you the 3 ohm requirement. only one thing in order for these resistors to get hot the lights would have to be on for quite some time. unless you drive with your flashers on. also the type of resistors that you purchased are water tight, you could of installed them in the engine bay with no worries. just food for thought.

More info too add on: LED/resistor install
I'd Like to add more info to this if I could :-) I have a 2011 Megane Coupe Sport (I'm from Europe) and with new car systems it indeed works as described, but I will list what I did.
If you changed all bulbs to LED (DRL, blinkers, brakes) then you will need 100watt resistors, one left, one right, OR 2 50watt resistors, same set up as above. Indeed, he is correct, you only need one in the back for each side, you want to make sure you are using the correct wires, because all new cars share wires, ground, and watts. Example, my rear lense has three holes: one for each bulb, but behind it sits no wires, but instead a metal grid, a sort of maze, connecting them all, and that is routed to one connector at the bottom, where just a few wires run out to the OBD. The maze is the shared ground. The front I would not even mess with, because its insane with all the wires for the anti leveling xenons. Its also a good idea to make sure your LEDs are unpolarised and OBD free, this helps keep the DRL to not draw from the resistors, and the hazards.will always work correctly and also not draw from the resistors.
If.you changed only front or back, you do all the same, but decrease your total resistor watt to 50 in total, on each side. If I missed anything, feel free to ask.

Please help, multimeter/resistor question
Hey guys, my friend tried the same upgrade we did. He has the right side working, but he can't find the correct wores on the ledt as there are 4 wires with the same color. How do we use a multimeter to find the blinker wire? What do I look for? Do I turn the blinker on and test each wire, looking for voltage that fluctuates between each blink?
Thanks for all the help in advance.

On the Driver side you want to locate the Red/Blue Line as well as the ALL BLACK wire. I just did mine and it works perfect, but I only remember seeing those 2 wires and nothing else that color. I may be wrong but just want to make sure you are looking for the correct colors.

I did it to my car with switchbacks and it took about 10 minutes to take the module out of my car, solder it, and put it back in and I have had no problems with hyper flash ever since.
