replacement e-brake handle

replacement e-brake handle

i have seen a lot of shifter knob upgrades, either type-s or other, but has anyone done anything with their e-brake handle?

and is this even possible?

I thought about rewrapping the handle....but then thought about how much its going to be touched. I like the momo handle but I dont like the etching of MOMO ITALY in it.

They got nicer ones on the site. They have one that actually matches the brushed aluminum in the TL.

these handles look shorter than ours, i wonder if you would need to upgrade the boot as well. they also mention possibly needing spacers.

i sent an email to see if they fit, and i got a "yes" response. but i didnt ask about the extras.

the spacer is like 4 dollars or something. reason why i havent try the mod.

so how do you get the ebrake off?

i have read that in some cars the handle just slides off, but the only problem i see with this is the button on our ebrake is square/rectangle and the aftermarket handles have a round opening, and from the pics of the handles that are not installed it doesnt appear to come with the button.
