Replace Fog Bulbs with PIAA Xtreme White Plus *PICS*
I know this have been talked about in other threads so please forgive me.
I just replace my fog bulbs with PIAA Xtreme White Plus, 9006 bulbs. What a difference!! They are a much whiter bulb than the factory ones. If you are looking to replace your fog bulbs I would highly recommended the PIAA Xtreme White Plus bulbs.
Sorry for the repeat thread....

I bought them from Ideal in Tampa. You can also get them at Sound Advice.
It took me about 15 minutes to replace the bulbs. If you look in your owners manual it tells you step by step. It is very easy, just make sure you don't touch the glass on the bulbs.
I will take some pictures and email them since the photo gallery is not working. If you want to see the pictures send me an email and I will reply.

If it's whiter and brighter, since the position of our fog lights are so high, will this make opposite drivers blind or glared? Will they think you have your beams on?
Do you mind having some pics for us if possible? Thanks.

Repeat post or not...this is a great thread. Coming home tonight I got off the freeway to look at some new model homes located off roads with no street lights (pretty uncommon here). Anyway, I was noticing the yellow of my driving lights and was thinking of changing them. New lights are next on my list. Great nfo.
As for the other drivers...even if they think they're high beams a little flash of the bixenon beam and they'll know it's not. I'll tell you, tonight is the first night I was using my high beams and damn they're bright.
With the bulbs, in one of my old cars I had Silverstars in the headlights and the fogs were XTreme whites from PIAA and the Silverstars put out way whiter light and were way cheaper. I think I'll try the silverstars first and if they suck go with PIAAs.

It has 115 W on the bulbs' box. Is that the wattage per bulb? If so, can the current wiring handle it? I replaced bulbs on a previous car with higher wattage bulbs and the switch and fuse would go out a lot.

is rsmooth.com a brand new site that may not have propagated through the DNS servers yet? I'm unable to bring it up.

Weird. It's like the site doesn't exist for me; I can even surf to www.rsmooth.com, I just get the "page cannot be found" error. Do you have an IP for them?

Ping them (open a command line and type "ping www.rsmooth.com"). The output should include the IP address.

The bulbs are 55 watts each. The ones in the pictures are the same wattage. I didn't replace them with a higher wattage bulb, just better ones. PIAA Xtreme White Plus.

I use Sylvania SilverStars. 55 watts and street legal. It is whiter than the originals. It cost $19 each at AutoZone. Check Walmart, at one time I saw them carry it for $37 a pair.

I just bought the Silverstars at Wally World in Brandon for $38.00. I'll install them tonight after the car cools down. I'll report back when their in. Oh I almost forgot, couldn't find the PIAA's, thus the Silverstars. I thought I would try them since others had and liked them.

One of the reasons I bought the PIAA's is because they offer a 1 year warranty. When I check the price on the Silver Star at Pep Boys they were $48 for the pair. For the extra $10 I thought having that warranty would be worth it.
If I would have found the Silver Stars for $38 a pair like you did I may have bought them instead.
Oh well......

I know this is a stupid question, but nonetheless I must ask. TL's uses regular halogen headlamps as their fog lights? I assume so, but I must ask.
I can recommend a great set of bulbs. Eurolite Fusion. They have the same glow as the Acura's HID. Not as bright, but much closer to the color temperature of HIDs.
I bought mine online for 30$. I am very pleased with the light output and color temp of these lights.
