Removing Registration Stickers

What's the best way to remove registration stickers from your license plates?

I tried using my fingernails and some WD40 but it seems like the sticker just breaks into pieces and isn't as easy as I thought. TIA.

i usually just slide a razor blade carefully to aid it and it works almost flawlessly, sometimes it will break in some parts but it helps

First use a hair dryer or heat gun to soften the adhesive.

I use a razor blade scraper:

It works flawlessly and you can pick one up at Home Depot, Loews, etc.
