Removing Overspray?

Had my Type-S in for the 3rd gear TSB and some other minor issues, one of which was some flaking clear coat on my front bumper below the driver's side headlight. No signs of damage, rock or otherwise, just flaking off.

I get the car back and was pleased to find everything fixed well. They even replaced my review mirrors even though all I asked was to have them lubed because they were "popping" when rotating down in reverse. Anyway, the next day was the first time I had a chance to give the car a good look and that's when I found out that there is clear coat overspray all over, windows and paint. It's not excessive but it's uniform and you can feel it.

What's the best way to clean this up? Clay bar? What about the windows? I waxed the car not long before taking it in so I would think it should come off relatively easy. I do not want to take it back to the dealer to handle simply because, while they have done good by me on fixing mechanical issues, I don't trust their body or detailing personel.

Thanks in advance.

What about the windows?

Thanks. I figured that would be the best way to go for the paint. Figures, I just clayed a couple months ago.

Can you clay windows though? I guess I could use a razor on them but thought there might be a better way.

Clay work great on over spray. Will work on windows too, or use a fine steel wool w/ window cleaner. Just rinse good and don't let any steel wool particles settle on the paint, otherwise it could scratch when you dry.

everyone here is correct. Clay bar. Both on windows and paint. Takes the overspray right off. Actually just did a window today. Make sure to use lube (quick detailer). Do all your windows esp. the windshield. EVen if no overspray you'll be amazed how clear the windshield will be next time you drive. Clay bar is great.
