Redondo Red Perl Mods

Here are some pictures of my RRP TL . Some (well all so far ) of the mods are:
Interior Blue Led Kit/28 percent Formula One Tint/Aspec Suspension/CompTech RSB

The suspension mods have really improved the handling of the (A5) TL. Strongly
recommend both of them.

So far I have not had a big problem with the stock tires ( other than low
initial inflation causing a leftward drift).

What are the advantages/disadvantages to going to 18 inch wheels with respect
to performance/ride quality?

Does anyone know the top speed in the five gears for the automatic transmission version?

Looking Good...

I am still debating if I should get Splash Guard or not for my car...I see you and Mike both have it...I kinda like it, but still not sure if it looks awesome or not...

in what way would you say you saw the biggest improvement in handling. cause TL handles like a tub on wheels. feels too loose and too clumsy. not nimble at all.

SK7:
After the Suspension Mods the car feels much more connected to the road.
The "floatyness" over whoopdedoos is all but gone and body lean during the
twisties is negligible. (Keep in mind that my other vehicle is a 97 Explorer.)
The TL has become a joy to drive over the backroads.

da_bien1390:
I got the 9-led set of lights from www.Tec-Toyz.com .
Installation was easy, just pop off the covers and replace the bulbs.

I have actually heard that you lose a little on the gas mileage, performance, and ride quality. Probably not enough to really notice though. I would go to a dealership and test drive one with 18s or find someone you know. I know the dealership that I go to has demos with both 17s and 18s.

Interior lights look good. What made you go with the dome lights instead of the foot well lights? Can you still read stuff with those blue lights?

The 05 does not have footwell lights, I do have blue leds in the bottom of each
of the doors...

Reading stuff could get a bit tricky, if worst comes to worst, the (still white) mirror
lights could be used.

I am sure this is out there somewhere, but I have yet to be able to find it. About how much did the suspension mods run you? Were yours installed by Acura?

I bought the suspension (for the 5A) from Acura of Escondido via EBAY for $600.00.

The installation was done at a local shop for $375.00. The dealer cost would have
been a couple of hundred more...
