So i bought a standard 5SMD Red LED to replace my dome lights this week, as soon as i replaced them (it was at night) i noticed they aren't very bright (as opposed to the OEM lights) which is understandable of course.

Now i need an advice which Red LEDs will be brighter for me, i did some research and i found the following:

Im pretty sure both will fit my car, so please don't link me to any other site as i am looking to buy the cheapest LED bulbs possible... my opinion LED bulbs shouldn't cost more then $5 for a pair so any USA sellers are off budget LOL

 

In my experience I have found that a 5050 SMD 194 bulb tends to be plenty bright, granted mine are all white but they light up the interior very well. I purchased mine from Amazon.

 

Yeah those are the ones I have, I noticed the more a color resembles a white color the brighter it is (aka pink, green, amber) but the red one has no spread what so ever

 

So you're looking for red lights that can produce good visibility? Good luck

 

Red dome lights? What is this a strip club? Like paperboy said you aren't going to have good visibility with red interior lights. Even with an incredibly bright bulb its still gonna be awkward on the eyes.

 

Either will do

IMO you get what you pay for.
