My front bumper got backed into by a tow hitch a few months back. It hit dead center in my license plate, and punched through behind it. If I get a new front plate/factory holder, no one will know but me. I can cut holes and not feel bad now.

I am going to be modding the TL-S over the next few years, and I love the look of front tow hooks. I plan on doing a track-style build, with 265/35-18s and function-over-form #hellafunctional setup. Stancing is for pretty boys.

Anyway, are those BMW/Mini screw-in, fold-down tow hooks the same thread size as our factory tow mount? I am totally fine with cutting stuff, but my #1 priority is leaving the factory bumper intact. Does anyone have a tow hook and/or what style is it? I would prefer to utilize the factory mount if I can.
