If auto do the 3x3 ATF fluid change and the 4th & 5th gear switches.

If 6MT I would swap out the fluid for GM Synchromesh (solves 3rd gear pop-out and smoother shifts).

There is more but you should probably search..

Enjoy the car.
there isnt to many required services for 62,000 Miles.

I am at 59k miles on an 06. and other than breaking shit (my new nick name is Justonjacks) I dont have to do anything except for routine stuff like tires, oil, etc.
and its really a case by case basis.
your headlights are going out, but mine arent. etc...
Fix what ever needs to be fixed.

I suggest that you be extra kind to your transmission, and do the ATF (auto transmission fluid) drain and fill--3 quarts of ATF, no big deal. I also just did my 3rd and 4th gear transmission switches (at 84K), and it made a big difference in the way it shifts--much more positive and smooth. I suggest you do this before too long as it keeps the transmission from slipping and wearing. Keep your air filter clean, change the oil when the car tells you, and enjoy!

Another thing to watch for is that the engine mounts on this car tend to break. I had two broken engine mounts (front and side), and the side transmission mount. They're rubber, and they just give up at some point. Keep an eye on them as your mileage rolls higher.

Lastly, keep a keen eye on the dealership--these guys tend to kill you on larger maintenance items ($140/hr, uplifted parts prices, etc.). If you can find a solid independent Honda/Acura mechanic that you trust in your area, you'll save a boatload of money on larger repair items. Good luck!

Regarding your headlight...check the ground wire going to your radiator core support. I had that happen on one of my 2G TLs and couldn't figure it out until I had a similar problem on one of my classic cars and the light bulb went on...Sure enough, that's all it was, a loose ground wire.

Edit...3rd and 4th gear tranny switches, not 4th and 5th. Right?

ATF $100 (guess), BF $150, 3rd and 4th gear pressure switches (they'll laugh at you first (b/c they don't believe in what was written in forums and then charge you $200 parts and labor)...

3rd and 4th. and all the stuff you listed are maintenance items not warranty. the PS recall wil be free, the other little things you pointed out in your first post should be covered under warranty. so you're paying for some and some of it is warranty.

the dealer will probably check for other recalls that are open and take care of them (at least they should). i hope you told them NOT to wash your car.
