Recommendations for Anthracite Tinting
I have an 04 Anthracite with Black Interior and I would like to get tints. The legal limit in MA is 35%, but i have seen other gray cars with black interiors with 35% tints and it seems too light. should i go with 20% or no? i would greatly appreciate any feedback or pictures if possible, especially from other Anthracite owners with tints. I havent seen an actual Anthracite TL with tints yet, only seen the gray TSX w/ black interior with 35% tints and it looks pretty light to me. I know i carry the risk of being ticketed for it, but i would rather risk getting caught than getting tints where you can still see right through. I just think it would be pointless to get light tints on a darker car, might as well not tint it at all if you what I am saying. Thanks for the help!

I have 35% tint and I think it's too light as well. If I could go lower, I would, but the laws have changed here again.

I have 35% all around, w/ 50% on the windshield, all titanium film.
It's light enough to see the outlines of people inside, yet at certain angles, it's almost impossible to see into it. I think it has to do with how reflective the tint film is...
If you want to do something illegal in the car, then you'll definitely need something darker.
EDIT: I also have Anth/Ebony.

IMO, I think 35% has the right effect on the AM. Some folks have gone darker (20%) on the rear window and stayed with 35% on the doors. Makes the entire car look darker. The final decision is yours.

What happens if you get caught? Here in PA, ANY tint is illegal. I've got a "04 TL with Anthracite/Ebony 6mt navi. and I want to get tint but I'm curious what I'll have to do if I get busted. Do you just pay the fine and forget it, or do you have to get the tint removed and prove it to the police? Any comments from Pennsylvania drivers who've been busted would be appreciated. The Anthracite sure looks great with tint especially with ebony interior.

I also have Anthacite/Ebony and I went 35% on the doors and 5% (yes 5% on the rear window. I think 35 is enough on the doors as the dark interior makes it a little harder for people to see inside and the 5% rear makes it hard for people to see in from the front. In alot of states you're not even required to have a rear windshield so you can tint it as dark as you like but YMMV.

Sun was a little low in the sky when I took these so it might be throwing things off but you get the point.

I live in sucky VA , the limit here is 35% back and 50% front.
Should I do 35% back, 50% front or 50% all the way?
Mirrorish or black?
Seriously VA sucks but people drive nice cars....
Anthracite.

Will take more pics and find alternate host. The links seem to work sporadically, very weird.
In regards to mirror or black...definitely go black. Mirror tint looks like crap and the metal in it can affect reception.
