Recaro Child seat question

I am looking at child seats. I was wondering if anyone had a picture of a Recaro convertible baby seat in a TL? Does it fit in the middle? Thanks

not sure if you're stuck on the recaro but i have a britax and it fits very snug. I also recommend a carseat undermat to protect the leather. just my

I have the Lionheart undermat. I looked at the britax but carseatdata.com lists the Recaro as the best seat for my other car. Right now it is between the Britax Boulevard CS and the Recaro Singo. I have tried the Britax in my cars and they work great I just wanted to see what people thought about the Recaro.
Thanks for your replies.

Dont have Recaro so can't offer any useful insight but we have the Britax Marathon and it fits fine in the middle.

I have a Recaro seat for my 2 year old and it does fit on the side but prevents the front passenger from moving the seat all the way back. Because of its overall size, I dont think that it would fit very well in the middle unless the driver and front passenger are not very tall.

I have a Recaro seat for my daughter and like it. The head rest pads adjust with her height and I never have to deal with pulling the straps out to make them higher, just twist the nob on the side and everything raises. Also the bottom is completely flat and smooth (no need for a seat cover) It does hang over some though. Here's some pics

^Nice. Looks very comfortable.

Now, get some pink items for your interior to go with that chair.

Thanks for the pics. How does it work backwards in the middle seat?

I never tried it backwards. I purchased this when my daughter was old enough to face forward. It is a tall car seat so with it backwards it could be tight in our car. It does have a lever at the bottom that will tilt the seat back so when it's facing backwards it's not sitting straight up.

One more question. Have you used the LACH system in the middle?

Side seats limit how far the front seat back can go pretty drastically! In the middle, it's a lot better. But, no matter where you put it, when loading your child into it rear facing, it's a pain in the ass!

I have the Recaro Signo G2 in cappucino and it looks awesome in my TL.

Is the backseat spacing/sizing similar to that of an Accord?

I will have to cramp two car seats in once I get my TL. What do you guys do to try and limit damage from the little ones?

Not all black but close enough. Plus I got a decent price from Amazon with free shipping. Ordered it yesterday, came today. Now I have to get my car back from the auto body shop. Now I want Recaro seats up front, thing looks comfy. I'm jealous.

Great and fun thread. We have a Graco seat for our Grandsons. It is grey and black which matches my type S interior. All I can say is 2 1/2 year old Henry kept say "wee" over and over as I went through the twisty and hilly parts of the trip to "Grandma's house" yesterday. Never knew that the little buttons on the seats are where the anchors are located. Those Recaro seats look sharp, if the seat would be in my car full time as a parent it would be my choice.

Well I got the car back from the body shop and installed the seat. I have not read the directions yet so this is not necessarily kid safe. This seat fits in the Acura better than it does in my Chrysler Town and Country. I have the seat set up for my driving position (I am 6'2") and there is about 4 inches between my seat and the car seat. I am very happy with it.

Definitely looks like a messed up seat to me.....

P.s. Purchased the "Safety 1st <air> protection" car seat today in Blk w/ red trim. Quite a snazzy looking seat, surely compliments the TL's interior. My brand new little man is gunna be riding in style.... Well, after he's born... In 6 hours, btw...

Wish us luck.

It is a seat protector. Stops kids from putting their dirty feet on the back of the seat.
