I traded in my RSX type-S on Monday and got an 08' TL base with navigation. Its alabaster silver with tan interior. No pics of the car yet, havent had a chance to take any. I have a sun shade waiver so window tint is coming very soon as soon as DMV updates my records with the new car, dark tint yay! going to tint the front windshield 50%, sides 35% and rear windshield 20%. I also am going to swap out the tan carpet and floot mats with black carpet and black floor mats. I think it would compliment the tan leather seats and interior doors very well. HID 3000k fogs too!


Heres what my RSX looked like before it went back to stock. I started going back to stock several months ago and sold all my parts I miss it, I cried like a baby when I left the dealer with my TL, lmao

I got a couple questions regarding the TL, hope you guys can give some input.

1. Where can I get a good navigation screen protector without interfering with the touch technology?

2. Is the A-Spec and RonJon kits the only ones available for the 08 base TL?

3. Has anyone put the type-S aspec kit on an 08 base TL and did it require any modification to make it fit?

That RSX-S was nice. But you diff made an upgrade.

2) Those two are the best kits. Not sure if the Versus front end fits UA7(2007-08).
3) Many have done it. It's direct fit/bolt on. No modification unless putting rear and quad exhaust. Will have to cut bumper.

I could be wrong.

 

Nah, I opted for automatic, but I miss stick. Everytime I get in the TL I look for the clutch cause I drove the RSX for so long :\

Yea the TL is a big upgrade and its more luxurious than the RSX-S so I dont mind driving automatic.

I am thinking about going with the type-S aspec front shown above, aspec type-S sides, and aspec base rear. .


Also, is it possible to have orange turn signals for the tail lights instead of red? I think orange just stands out more, but I am not sure if it can be done simply by taking out the red turn signal portion and just using orange bulbs.

 

1) Contact invisibleshield.com and have them cut a piece of their plastic to fit onto the nav screen. I've debated doing it, but never got around to it. They'll cut custom pieces if you give them the dimensions.
2) Pretty much, yes.
3) Many people have done it, not sure what modification has to be done.

You can do orange signals, but with heavy modification to the tailights.
