Rear Window

Hi guys,

Just bought 2005 TL and have a question for you. When I look at the rear window at some angle (about 60 degrees) it seems to have proportional bubbles all over the window. I cannot notice them while driving. Is it normal?

My friend has exactly the same 2005 car, just different color (which he bought 8 month before) and his window does NOT have the bubbles.

Thanks

I notice them when I wear my polarized sunglasses. I think it just the way the safety glass is made for cars.

Yup, that's exactly what it is. Polarized sunglasses make you see them

The man told his doctor, "It hurts when I do this." The doctor replied, "Then don't do that." So don't look at your window.

Seriously, folks (rimshot) ... that's just the tinting sandwiched into the glass. Sometimes it shows even without sunglasses, but it's nothing to worry about. As long as it doesn't bother your vision while driving, it's okay.
