Rear Spoiler

just curious i am not seeing very many pics with an actual rear spoiler , above the trunk lid i mean ?

does no one like them ?, i found one pretty cheap color matched. $150 plus shipping.

i put one on my cl had to have it painted cost way more than that.

also found an ansa front resonator for $50 plus shipping , not sure if it will help the sound dept. or not . i deleted my rear resonator for free basically welded it in myself , definetely will not be sharing pics of that bubble gum mess lol.

thats all i plan to do , maybe remove the intake resonator and put some H rated tires on so it will ride a lil softer .

I prefer the look of the attached/duckbill spoilers but to each his own.

One of the main reasons is that our car is a TL, and not a Civic. Unless a person is dropping thousands on a custom look, then a huge spoiler will look terrible on a TL. Even then IMO a spoiler looks out of place with the TL's lines. Just get a Type-S spoiler and be done with it.

OP I took my wing off a month after I bought mine. It is out of place and detracts from the look and lines of the car. The lip is the perfect compliment. I have mine I can't give away. You can have mine for cheap if you want. lol. Stick with a lip

Personal preference > all. At the end of the day you're building the car for you, so do what you like.

That said, I'm in the same camp as the others. Anything larger than the Type-S Deck Lid seems to be too much. If you're set on one but haven't decided which, there is an OEM A-Spec spoiler. I think it was only on the 04-05 models, so it'll be hard to find, but is probably the best quality.

When I bought my car it came with the spoiler. Remin® - Acura TL 2005 Factory Style Rear Spoiler just like this one. But I have since taken mine off. Holes are plugged up for short term. I personally think it looks better without it. But I agree with everyone else. Deck lid (any style really) is better than what came with my base TL. This one https://www.heeltoeauto.com/wing-spo...r.ua6.csl.html is actually the one i favor the most. It just comes down to personal preference.

Get the type s rear deck lid spoiler and call it a day. Keeps the clean look of the TL without causing too much attention

I had the Acura wing on my TL and I would have preferred the lip.
