Roof Spoiler

I purchased this roof spoiler off of eBay for $50 with free shipping and it came already painted from Taiwan. I am 100% satisfied with the quality. I was worried about the paint match (I told them the color code at checkout) but the paint matches my car EXACTLY. It looks like it came directly from the factory! It came with double sided 3M tape. It comes stiff (vertical) in a box so I had to take a heat gun to warp around the curved glass. Oh and I used alcohol to clean the area first, that was it, super easy! It took 3 of us to install it so 2 could hold it on each side and 1 person could view it from the rear to make sure it was centered. Took maybe 30 min. VERY HAPPY with the results

Enjoy!

That looks good. I've been thinking about buying one of those roof spoilers too.

Thanks guys. Its been on my car for a few weeks and still looks good. Hoping it lasts many years but I am VERY happy with the quality and still shocked the paint looks PERFECT.

As asked by someone in another post, there is no wind noise. It is not noticeable when driving. Its been almost 2 months and still looks great!

Gotcha. Yeah those would definitely make wind noise. I dont think there is an oem one but I know the accord offers it maybe it will fit, good luck.

I just ordered one but it did not give me an option for color

I did put the color in a message to the seller so hopefully they don't screw up

Yeah thats all you had to do, mention the official color like I said "graphite luster metallic" I have to say it is a 100% color match to my car, youll be very happy!

Was it easy to install? I'm thinking about purchasing one for my bellanova white pearl. I cant expect a color match cause sadly most white cars have different shades of color lol

It was easy. You'll just need an extra set of hands to make it a 10 min job.

I used the 3M tape that comes with it but also added a good amount of 3M window weld.

You need a heat gun or blow dryer to warp it, so a 2nd set of hands is needed. I had 2 others help (3 total) so 2 could stand on each side and 1 straight back to see if it was centered. Took 30 minutes cuz I wanted a perfect job and to heat up the plastic.

Ive had it on what 5 months now and its perfect!

You did a great job installing. Looks nice on your TL.

I am about to install my own and have a quick question. Did you line the top edge the spoiler with the top of the window glass or did you cover that small gap between the window and the roof? This is the one thing I can't decide on. Couldn't quite tell from your pictures.

I had a tough time deciding that myself! I ended up lining it to the top of the glass, not to the bottom of the painted roof, so yes I left that tiny gap there for water or whatever the reason is. So answer is top of the glass,do no cover the gap! good luck

If you line it up to the body then dirt and grime will build up under there and you'll have a bad time.
