Rear A-spec

I recently installed my whole lip kit this weekend everything came out fine except the rear. Im not sure if there is the lip is supposed to draw below the bumper. I have seen pictures were its low like mine and some where its flush. Did i install it wrong? the holes werent clearly marked like the front bumper ones, these ones had a dot with a line crossing it so i assumed that was it. Maybe i fucked it up? if so how would i go about fixing this

I will post a pic shortly

Thanks

Mine has a gap as well, but for the price i paid for paint and installation I'm not gonna complain. I've seen other TL Base/Type S A-spec kits with no gaps, slight gaps, and 2cm gaps. It supposed to be flush though, with zero gaps.

about 80-90% of the rear lips I've seen has a gap. its not really that big of a deal though. still looks good either way, and its not like its gonna rub anything from being couple mm lower.

for ppl with ocd though, having it flush is very important

I installed mine myself, following all the directions. My lip sits perfectly flush on the lip in the rear, but on the sides I have a small gap like this. All the mounting screw holes lined up perfectly in the fender well too, as they were predrilled because I had factory installed splash guards. Not sure how else I could have made the lip sit flush without making modifications that the installation guide didn't require.

mine was near flush, and then it kinda started sagging. I'm guessing its normal.

lol so i guess if my oem rear bumper looks like that then is bad? However im unsure if it's from assholes hitting my car when they're parking behind me.

Mine sits flush, but like others have said, while the lip is technically supposed to sit flush, not all of them actually do. I think how close you get when you drill the rear holes has something to do with this. Also keep in mind though, the bumper and the lip are both flexy plastic parts, so there's always going to be some variances no matter how well you do the install.
