Are the 2008 plus Tls the ones that have the rear reversing camera?

 

So I have been recently searching to buy a TL and I am very into the whole wood trim on the interior. I am wondering if anyone else has noticed that in the 2007 edition and up it seems like the woodgrain is quite dark and not as nice looking? Is it just me, or does anyone else see this?

 

The backup cam comes on the 07 with thech. The wood trim is kinda dark in mine, but I have the ebony interior, so I like it like that.

 

the 2007 also has backup camera. the wood trim is the same from what i saw

 

2007-2008 TL's with navigation will have the rear backup camera
2007-2008 TL's BASE model will have the dark wood trim.

So your looking for a 2007-2008 Base TL with navigation, not a TL-S!

 

Correct me of I'm wrong but you should be able to buy the lighter color wood trim and swap the wood-grain out. It can get kind if pricey though.

 

yes, it's pretty pricey! If you want the light colored wood, you only choice is 2004-2006 TL's with either Parchment or Camel colored interiors. Ebony and Quartz came with carbon fiber trim just like the TL-S

 

oh my this is super confusing! lol...also I am new to this website how do I find my posts after I write them and then I want to check back to see what others wrote back? The 2007 and 2008 TL with navi will have a backup camera. Base will not.
The dark wood trim is the only color wood available in an 07-08. Carbon fiber is the other option.

The BASE TL refers to the 3.2 TL from 2007-2008, a BASE TL can be optioned with and without navigation. The TL-S came standard with navi, the only option being transmission.
