RDX rear caliper covers - 07 type s

I've seen a few post where users are using the RDX caliper covers for the rear wheels.

I have a 07 Type S w/ stock rims. If i were to put the covers on, are there any space/rubbing issues?

Also, about rear brake pad replacement being an issue. Do you have to un-glue the covers? or is there a way around not having to un-glue / re-glue?

I'd like to even out the front brembo look w/ the rear.

They fit the rear calipers fine, most people have used RTV to install them. Here is the thread https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-photograph-gallery-96/rdx-brake-covers-installed-861739/

yah.. I 'had' them on my 08-S...but the dealer took them off after
telling me they couldn't get to the pads with them on...HOWEVER,
as per the above post.. be sure to follow the thread completely...
near the end you will see ways to access the caliper/pads with them on.

I will be putting them back on this weekend....

I RTV'd the long bar on caliper and 2 spots on the side.

I am running rims with way less rim to caliper clearance than the stock rims and they still clear.

You will be fine.

no rubbing at all regardless of trim or rims.

I got them on too and absolutely there is a huge distance to the stock wheel. I can fit my huge hand through the spokes of my wheel and wipe them clean with a rag, ok? As far as being able to remove caliper and change pads absolutely yes. I just took out my rear pads yesterday to grease them and the RDX covers were not in my way at all, the covers just sat pretty on the caliper brakets as i did my thing. Those covers get glued to the caliper braket not to the caliper and u glue them on so they with the acura logo pointing towards the spokes of the rim. There is lots of space to slide out the pads and put them back in...I could have taken some pictures if I knew....
