Raybesto Quiet Stop Brake Pads - Good or bad?
I can purchase the set of Raybestos Quiet Stop Brake Pads PGD787QS for a ridiculous ammount ($6 the front set). These are ceramic pads and ran for about $60 front set before being dicontinued. The fact that they have been discontinued and are so cheap makes me worry about the quality of these pads or any hidden issues on the item. Anyone know if I should be worried or if I could give them a try?

Any help will be greatly apreciated.
Peace!
Rolan

do you have the standard brakes? not brembo correct?
normally thats are a good brand name for a decent product
Ceramics are quieter but dont stop as well as other materials
If you are a casual braker- not 80mph to 30 repeated, then they would be ok
Check out the shipping though- even though usa territory, may be continental 48 only shipped only

I actually can get them in a local Pep Boys, no shipping.
I am a casual braker, although I do use my car a lot I'm not really an aggressive driver.
Thanks,
