I wanted to know if anyone has the same problem...

Ok I took my car in the svc dept b-cuz I noticed to front windows when closed you can hear wind noise, and also the tint was getting scratched. When I took it in we found out that when you have to window about 4-6 inches open and you close it there is a banging noise. Its like the glass is hitting against something. the harder you close it the louder it gets. It sounded like it would break the glass. oh ya also the windows are very loose(they move easily up and down). they said I needed window regulators. But after picking up my car I tried the window and it still happens!!!! So now they are telling the they will call me after they get a hold of acura about it. they dont know why it is happening.

this is when you close the door you hear the rattle not when your driving...

 

it happens in my car and if i remember corectly, many others in this forum have the same problem as far as the loose door rattle goes. Does it also do this when the window is completly down?

 

when the window is closed i can hear it but not as loud. but when im driving i dont hear a rattle.
only when i close it.

Are you absolutely positive that this is the window, and not the seatbelt? When you close the door, especially hard, the seatbelt tab (the metal/hard plastic part that you insert into the buckle) will rattle against the doorframe. The sound you're describing sounds more like the seatbelt rattle (which is normal, considering how the seatbelt tab rests against the doorframe) than anything.

 

I haven't had that problem. The problem I have is a roof creak above my head from body flexing. Has anyone heard of this issue? And any clue for a fix?
