Radio Settings?

In noticed all my settings Bass, Treble etc.. are set at 6. Is this the most optimum to get best sound. I like volume on the high side for music, and it starts to sound "tinny" at those settings. Is this the factory setting, should I change it to get better performance??

Thomwarn,

It's all personal preference. I personally like to keep the Treble set higher and the Bass somewhere in the middle. Keeping things set this way let's me 'crank it' without running into too much Bass distortion at high volume.

Best case snenario that I have found, is to listen to as much of my music as possible in DVDA format. The system in the car is optimized for 5.1 surround, thus keeping the Bass where it needs to be (in the Sub) and the rest of the channels sent to speaker designed to handle specific sonic ranges.
